Established in 1981 as Jerry Godfrey Real Estate, Ross Setzler purchased the full-service real-estate brokerage firm in 1998 and changed the name to Ross Real Estate. The company, founded on the principle of handshake honesty, includes nine full-time agents employing a diverse background of farm-and-ranch sales experience.Setzler, born in Corpus Christi, Texas in 1959, grew up in the oil patch living in more than 20 Texas towns since birth. He worked as a reporter, marketing director and publisher of several rural Texas newspapers before switching careers and entering the real-estate business in 1996.
