Barbara joined the Prudential Ross Real Estate team in June of 2005. Barbara is married to her high school sweetheart, Larry Jessup. They both grew up in Cisco and went to college in Waco. After graduating college they lived in the Austin/Round Rock area for 13 years then decided to plant their roots in Early. They have 2 wonderful daughters in the Early school system and are members of the Early First Baptist Church. Barbara and Larry own a 400 acre ranch in Eastland County where they raise cattle and hunt, as they are avid hunters. They’ve gone as far north as Alaska to Halibut and Salmon fish and as far south as Nixon, Texas to hunt Russian Boar and as far west as Fort Davis, Texas to Javalina and Aoudad hunt. They both also love to hunt the local whitetail deer and wild hogs as well as process their own game.
Since joining the team Barbara has aquired her GRI designation which is a designation only 10% of REALTORS aquire. The GRI designation requires many additional hours of classes in the real estate field. Barbara has become very proficient in the real estate industry, specializing in land and ranch sales where she has a vast knowledge of land related issues. She has also taken classes and worked with clients doing 1031 tax-deferred exchanges. Barbara also sells and list many residental and commercial properties as well as lake properties.
